long story short. i was kinda bummed i missed out on 's zodiac sailor contest but i wanted to represent my sign anyway (cancer baby!) so sailor cancer turned to sailor grim (dont know how) but i just couldnt get the feel right with a skirt and a bow. So they got ditched and now this is my not-so-sailor Grim.
so i imagine she just pulls her scythe out of the air whenever she...needs it. and so thats what she's doing. i wanted to keep her creepy, her arms are a little long and i gave her a wide malicious grin. =]
**not sure about my monitor settings, let me know if its too dark to see >_<
Oh My Goodness!!!WOW i really do love this! The dark colors are amazing but I just dont like the face. lol I know it was for salor moon contest for your sign but I see it all awesome then like the face makes me want to laugh. Ha when I first saw it i thought it was death from your book and i was like WTF he's a girl????? lol ha It's still freaking sweet! The purple is pretty amazing against the gray and the fading at the end is pretty fancy too! The scythe is really kick ass too!
have to critique it, eh? well i think it's pretty damn good. better than i can do at the moment thats for sure. the body looks pretty proportional, love the effect with the scythe... yeah, job well done!
squee! i know, me too! oh you'll never believe what happened yesterday. my friend and i found a black lab out in the fields near somerton! this poor girl was starved skinny, her ribs showing, she was dusty and it looks like she recently had puppies. we think she may have been used to breed her first heat cause she still looks young. and by the look of her face she's black lab, not some black mut. we're calling her Keira, she's such a pretty girl, and so sweet. she's a cuddle bug. i hope she's still here when you drive through yuma! she reminds me of shady
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
